Tommy Hilfiger

This animation was made to showcase our possibilities of creating superior CG materials. Materializing objects or environments in the virtual world is always a fascinating direction in the industry for us. This part is purely chasing details. The pattern of the skin, the shiness of the surface, color shades, glossiness, stitches, the structure of threads, and many other nuances that we took into account during the production. The challenge is not only to make an exact copy of the real shoe but also to make it desirable for the buyers. The wish to taste the smell of the leather, imagine the tactile touch, and feel the softness of the sðle should occur while looking at this virtual shoe. Lighting also plays a great role in the material presentation. One type of light source can flatten the texture, however, others will emphasize all micro bumps, and give the leather this juicy realism.
